Terms of Use — 49th Floor

Last updated: 9 July 2026

These terms govern your use of the 49th Floor app ("the app"). By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the app.

License

The app is licensed, not sold, to you for personal, non-commercial entertainment use on any Apple-branded device you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, redistribute, or resell the app or its content, except as allowed by law.

The app is a work of fiction

49th Floor is a fictional narrative game. Meridian Electric and all companies, people, events, newspapers, and documents depicted are invented or fictionalized. Nothing in the app is a statement of fact about any real company or person, financial or legal advice, or a recommendation of any kind.

No accounts or purchases

The app requires no account and sells nothing. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or advertising. Your progress is stored only on your device.

Privacy

Your use is also subject to our Privacy Policy. In short, the app collects only anonymous, unlinked usage analytics and no personal information.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To that same extent, the developer is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time; the "last updated" date will change accordingly. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
